Senior Director Engineering, Seller User Experience

What you'll do

• Lead the development and enhancement of seller experiences focused on customer satisfaction.
• Use user feedback and analytics to refine and perfect seller interfaces.
• Drive modernization initiatives to transform the platform into a self-service offering.
• Collaborate with architects to reimagine experience services aligned with technical excellence.
• Define an engineering vision that integrates customer insights to drive growth and efficiency.
• Align technology roadmaps with strategic goals through partnerships with product and business stakeholders.
• Influence platform strategy to improve engagement with third-party partners and the seller community.
• Mentor teams and foster a culture of empowerment to deliver user-centric experiences.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (Master’s preferred).
• 15+ years of experience in engineering and leadership roles focused on delivering superior user experiences.
• Proven success leading the enhancement of customer experience through innovative technology solutions.
• Strong architectural skills with experience in scalable systems focused on user engagement.
• Expertise in sociotechnical systems thinking for optimal user experience design (preferred).
• Experience using metrics like DORA and SPACE to optimize developer and user experience flow (preferred).
• Proficiency in Agile and Lean methodologies focused on iterative improvements in user engagement (preferred).
• Experience orchestrating AI/Machine Learning solutions to enhance user interfaces and experiences (preferred).
