What you'll do

  • Administer diverse databases including MySQL, DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, Cassandra, and MongoDB.
  • Deploy, configure, and manage AWS cloud services using tools like EC2, S3, and Route 53.
  • Model data, design schemas, and manage complex data structures across multiple systems.
  • Implement automated backup strategies, recovery plans, and performance tuning for SQL and NoSQL queries.
  • Build and optimize monitoring dashboards and alerts using Prometheus, Grafana, and PromQL.
  • Develop automation services and scripts using Python, Go, Shell, and GitHub.
  • Manage infrastructure security through IAM policies, encryption, and Terraform configurations.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Five years of experience administering MySQL databases and implementing backup, recovery, and performance tuning strategies.
  • Three years of experience administering DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, Cassandra, and MongoDB databases.
  • Experience using Prometheus, Grafana, and PromQL to build and optimize dashboards and alerts.
  • Experience developing automation services and scripts using Python and Shell.
  • Experience developing automation services and scripts using Go, GitHub, and VSS.
  • One year of experience performing version control and CI/CD using GitHub.
  • Experience deploying databases in containers using Kubernetes and Docker.
