What you'll do

Develop stored procedures, views, tables, and other database objects using SQL Server Management Studio.
Design and develop dimensional data models including star and snowflake schemas to support business intelligence.
Deploy ETL packages through CI/CD pipelines while managing version control in configuration management systems.
Index system logs into Splunk to create custom dashboards, alerts, and reports for monitoring.
Perform data validation to ensure accuracy and integrity while conducting peer code reviews for the team.
Analyze large datasets using statistical analysis and predictive modeling to guide business decisions.
Map business requirements from stakeholders to technical specifications within an Agile development framework.
Establish operating standards for database performance, security, scalability, and maintainability.

What we're looking for

At least 7 years of experience in server database maintenance and analysis or a similar role.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Programming, Computer Engineering, or a related computer-based major.
Proficiency with databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, Informix, and Oracle.
Experience performing database environment installation, configuration, and ongoing administration support.
Expertise in data modeling, data mapping, data flow diagrams, and data marts.
Experience architecting and implementing cloud-based database solutions on various platforms.
Experience migrating data from legacy on-premises databases to multi-cloud or hybrid cloud platforms.
Preferred database or cloud certifications such as Microsoft Certified Azure Database Administrator Associate or equivalent.
