Senior Data QA Tester

What you'll do

• Lead test strategy, planning, execution, and quality governance for large-scale data platforms and pipelines.
• Develop and maintain automated validation frameworks for data ingestion, transformation, and schema validation.
• Execute functional, integration, regression, and performance testing for cloud-based data environments.
• Define acceptance criteria and identify defects throughout the development lifecycle.
• Monitor quality metrics, automation effectiveness, and defect trends to drive continuous improvement.
• Test ETL/ELT processes and data loads using Snowflake SQL and PySpark.
• Validate data accuracy across AWS-based services including S3, Glue, EMR, and Redshift.

What we're looking for

• 10+ years of experience in software testing, data quality assurance, data engineering, or a related field.
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake, including testing data loads, transformations, and validation using Snowflake SQL.
• Strong hands-on experience with PySpark, Spark SQL, and advanced SQL scripting.
• Experience testing ETL/ELT processes, big data environments, cloud platforms, and enterprise data pipelines.
• Proven expertise in test automation, data validation, reconciliation, defect management, and quality assurance methodologies.
• Experience working with AWS-based data services and distributed data processing platforms.
• Experience within the Energy & Utilities industry.
• Experience with Palantir Foundry, leading QA initiatives, data profiling, mentoring teams, or relevant certifications (preferred).
