The Sr Engineer, Data & Analytics Platform (Snowflake/dbt) joins a small team to design, build, and own the data platform powering enterprise analytics and AI. Key technologies include Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran, Cortex AI, GitHub CI/CD, and SQL, with Python and Terraform as pluses. You will also develop dashboards using tools like Sigma, Power BI, or Streamlit. The role solves the challenge of creating a scalable data foundation for AI-ready datasets and complex enterprise business questions.

What you'll do

Design, build, and maintain dbt models, tests, and CI/CD pipelines for enterprise analytics.
Develop Snowflake-based data solutions including data modeling, query optimization, and warehouse administration.
Build and publish semantic models to make enterprise data consumable by AI agents and BI tools.
Manage Snowflake platform security through RBAC, Row Level Access, and Column Masking policies.
Create dashboards and analytics deliverables using modern visualization tools like Sigma or Power BI.
Build the data foundation for Cortex Agents by validating data quality and expanding domain coverage.
Troubleshoot and resolve production data issues and platform defects in a timely manner.
Mentor junior team members through code reviews, technical guidance, and pairing.

What we're looking for

Extensive experience with Snowflake, including data modeling, query optimization, warehouse architecture, and administration.
Strong experience with dbt, including building models, tests, macros, and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong knowledge of SQL.
Experience building dashboards in at least one modern BI tool like Sigma, Power BI, Tableau, or Streamlit.
Experience with Fivetran, ELT pipelines, and data integration patterns.
Bachelor's in Computer Science, Data Science, or related disciplines, or relevant experience in data architecture and analytics engineering.
Python experience is a plus.
Experience with GitHub Actions, AI/LLM familiarity, Power Automate, or Terraform is a plus.
