Senior Data & Insights Consultant

What you'll do

• Lead the creation and delivery of analytical insights and strategic recommendations to external clients and senior internal stakeholders.
• Frame ambiguous business problems into clear hypotheses, data requirements, workplans, and measurable outcomes.
• Source and analyze large, complex, and disparate datasets while ensuring analytical rigor and quality control.
• Identify opportunities to improve client profitability, risk management, fraud outcomes, and operational effectiveness.
• Develop executive-ready presentations and data visualizations that translate complex findings into actionable business narratives.
• Use Generative AI tools to improve analytical workflows, accelerate research, and enhance data storytelling.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and quality reviews to analysts and consultants across various project workstreams.
• Improve team practices by developing reusable code, templates, and standardized analytical processes.

What we're looking for

• 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree.
• 5 or more years of relevant work experience with an Advanced Degree (preferred: 7 or more years).
• 2 or more years of work experience with a PhD (preferred: 3 or more years).
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience analyzing large datasets using platforms like Hadoop, Hive, Spark, or Databricks.
• Data visualization expertise using Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, or comparable business intelligence tools.
• Working knowledge of statistical methods, analytical modeling, data quality controls, and documentation practices.
• Demonstrated digital fluency and ability to use Generative AI tools responsibly within analytical and consulting workflows.
• Experience in payments, acceptance, authorization, risk, fraud, or related financial services domains (preferred).
