What you'll do

Design and build scalable data pipelines in Big Data environments using AWS, Databricks, Snowflake, Spark, and Airflow.
Architect data solutions and define data models for the underlying data warehouse and data marts.
Identify internal and external data sources to facilitate measuring subscriber movements and metrics.
Define ETL strategies and implement automated data quality checks.
Maintain detailed documentation of work and changes to support data quality and governance.
Perform advanced performance tuning on SQL engines and distributed systems.
Ensure high operational efficiency of solutions to meet SLAs for Data Science and Analytics teams.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
At least 5 years of data engineering experience developing large data pipelines.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and PySpark.
Strong understanding of data modeling principles including dimensional modeling and data normalization.
Experience with analytic SQL and performing advanced performance tuning on SQL engines.
Experience working with traditional relational databases or distributed systems like Snowflake or Redshift.
Ability to design and develop scalable data warehousing solutions in Big Data environments.
Strong communication skills for written and verbal presentations in a collaborative environment.
