Senior Cybersecurity Architect

What you'll do

• Develop and advance cybersecurity strategies for commercial and restaurant platforms in alignment with business priorities.
• Build partnerships with product, engineering, and risk leaders to embed security throughout the product lifecycle.
• Lead collaborative architecture reviews to identify security gaps and establish pragmatic, risk-based paths forward.
• Define and promote reusable architecture artifacts, security models, standards, and design patterns.
• Improve risk visibility through threat modeling, control mapping, and documentation of security decisions and mitigations.
• Translate complex technical and risk topics into concise recommendations for executives and non-technical stakeholders.
• Assess alignment with security frameworks like NIST CSF, ISO 27001, and PCI DSS to create practical design outcomes.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years of experience in information security.
• At least 2 years of experience in a security architecture role or equivalent experience.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, SABSA, or TOGAF (preferred).
• Technical depth in domains like IAM, data protection, encryption, cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP), DevSecOps, or zero-trust architecture.
• Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST and ISO 27001.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate complex technical decisions and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills to simplify complex security topics for diverse audiences.
