JOB TITLE: Cyber Security Architect As a Cyber Security Architect, you will join a team of thought leaders to lead the architecture and design of innovative cybersecurity solutions and service offerings for federal networks. You will coordinate with experts to translate customer IT needs into secure plans, investigating new techniques to move beyond legacy models. Your daily work involves leading teams through critical network design, providing customized solutions that balance security with mission needs. You will leverage technical expertise in IoT, Cloud security, Automation and Orchestration, identity and access management, and machine learning. Required skills include network architecture, technical documentation, and experience with large complex organizations. You will utilize tools and concepts involving NGFW, Big Data, and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP to protect against advanced cyber threats.

What you'll do

Lead the architecture and design of innovative cybersecurity solutions to protect federal networks.
Identify and implement methods to harden systems and reduce the overall attack surface.
Translate customer IT needs and future goals into actionable plans for secure solutions.
Provide technical leadership in domains including IoT, Cloud security, Automation and Orchestration, and machine learning.
Guide senior executives to ideate, build, and execute cybersecurity capability maturation.
Author technical documentation, whitepapers, and blogs on leading cybersecurity topics and concepts.
Develop high-quality implementation plans and roadmaps in coordination with project and proposal teams.

What we're looking for

10+ years of experience with Cybersecurity.
5+ years of experience with leading technical project delivery for large, complex organizations.
5+ years of experience in network architecture and design.
Ability to guide senior leaders like CISO, CIO, and CTO to execute cybersecurity capability maturation.
Ability to collaborate with project and proposal teams to develop implementation plans and roadmaps.
Ability to author technical documentation, whitepapers, and blogs on cybersecurity topics.
HS diploma or GED.
Experience in cybersecurity compliance, operations, or engineering leadership (preferred).
Experience selecting and implementing security tools for large federal or commercial organizations (preferred).
Experience with A&O, AI, machine learning, NGFW, and Big Data (preferred).
Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP (preferred).
Excellent oral and written communication skills (preferred).
TS/SCI clearance (preferred).
Bachelor's degree (preferred).
Information Security Certification, including CEH, CISM, CCSP, CCSK, CISSP, or CompTIA Security+ (preferred).
