As a Sr Cybersecurity Analyst - Cyber Threat Intelligence, you will join the Cyber Threat Intelligence team to support the identification, collection, and analysis of cyber threat activity. You will convert threat reporting, technical indicators, and behavioral observations into actionable insights to inform detection, response, and risk prioritization. Daily responsibilities include analyzing indicators of compromise, malware behaviors, and threat actor TTPs while drafting finished intelligence products and briefings. You will utilize tools such as VirusTotal, VMRay, DomainTools, URLScan, Maltego, and Analyst Notebook. The role requires applying frameworks like the Diamond Model, Cyber Kill Chain, and MITRE ATT&CK to solve security problems. You will collaborate with cross-functional partners to contextualize threats and refine detection efforts within the company's operating environment.

What you'll do

  • Collect, evaluate, and analyze threat information from internal telemetry, open-source research, and vendor sources.
  • Analyze indicators of compromise, threat actor TTPs, malware behaviors, and infrastructure to generate actionable intelligence.
  • Develop and maintain subject-matter expertise on cybercriminal groups and emerging threats relevant to the operating environment.
  • Partner with security teams to contextualize threats and support incident response and detection efforts.
  • Draft and deliver finished intelligence products, including threat assessments, actor profiles, and recurring updates.
  • Apply structured analytic frameworks like the Diamond Model and MITRE ATT&CK to identify patterns and communicate confidence.
  • Identify opportunities to automate and streamline CTI processes, tools, and analytic workflows.
  • Coordinate with external peer groups and industry communities to exchange intelligence and maintain landscape awareness.

What we're looking for

  • Obtain a 4-year degree in Cyber Security, Intelligence Studies, Security Studies, International Relations, Political Science, Computer Science, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Possess 3+ years of experience in information security, preferably in cyber threat intelligence, security operations, incident response, threat hunting, malware analysis, or another investigative cyber role.
  • Demonstrate understanding of malware analysis fundamentals, indicator development, infrastructure analysis, and detection or response support.
  • Experience tracking cybercriminal, nation-state, high-grade, or other cyber threat actors using internal and external data sources.
  • Possess extensive experience producing intelligence products and briefings for incident response, detection engineering, security operations, leadership, or business stakeholders.
  • Experience applying analytic frameworks and methodologies such as the intelligence cycle, Diamond Model, Cyber Kill Chain, MITRE ATT&CK, and structured analytic techniques.
  • Experience using digital investigation and intelligence tools such as VirusTotal, VMRay, DomainTools, URLScan, Maltego, Analyst Notebook, or comparable platforms.
  • Demonstrate ability to collect, analyze, synthesize, and interpret qualitative and quantitative data from multiple sources to produce actionable judgments.
