Senior Cyber Security Automation Engineer

What you'll do

• Design, deliver, and maintain efficient security automations for SOC, Insider Risk, DLP, and Threat Intel teams.
• Manage the full lifecycle of automation playbooks from requirements gathering and planning to testing and maintenance.
• Identify new security automation opportunities and secure stakeholder buy-in to improve operational efficiency.
• Leverage Large Language Models (LLMs) to automate actions and enhance the capabilities of security analysts.
• Build end-to-end solutions with automated feedback loops to tune detections and enrich data.
• Perform quality checks on automations to reduce errors and enforce continuous improvement standards.
• Develop integration solutions using Python, Bash, PowerShell, and various third-party APIs.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code tools to streamline the deployment of security workflows.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information and Computer Science, Statistics, or a quantitative science discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in Information Technology.
• 4+ years of experience in Cyber Security.
• 4+ years of experience developing with Python.
• 2+ years of experience with SOAR tools such as Splunk SOAR, Sentinel, or Swimlane.
• Experience building solutions using OpenAI or other Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Proficiency in GitHub for version control and familiarity with CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
