The Sr. Consulting Manager, Product Manager, Transportation, Logistics & Supply Chain joins the Manufacturing, Logistics, Energy and Utilities Consulting team. In this leadership role, you will define product vision, strategy, and roadmaps for complex transportation and supply chain environments. You will manage the end-to-end product lifecycle, owning the backlog by converting customer insights into sprint-ready user stories. Key responsibilities include advising clients on trade-offs, setting testing strategies, and building performance dashboards to track ROI and reliability. You must possess deep expertise in TMS, WMS, freight, and last-mile delivery. Required skills include Agile product delivery, stakeholder management, and experience with EDI, APIs, IoT-enabled logistics, data platforms, and AI-enabled capabilities. You will lead cross-functional teams to solve operational challenges in warehousing, distribution, and fulfillment.
Set the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for transportation, logistics, and supply chain products.
Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle from initial discovery through launch and ongoing optimization.
Own the product backlog by converting strategic priorities and customer insights into sprint-ready user stories.
Advise clients on product strategy, trade-offs, and emerging opportunities in warehousing, freight, and supply chain operations.
Establish testing strategies, acceptance criteria, and quality standards in partnership with engineering and operations teams.
Build performance dashboards to track product adoption, reliability, efficiency, and ROI.
Lead cross-functional teams and run workshops to build stakeholder alignment and accelerate decision-making.
Support proposal and business-development work to grow the transportation and supply chain practice.
What we're looking for
10-15 years of experience in product management, product ownership, or management consulting with leadership in transportation, logistics, or supply chain.
Deep expertise in transportation, logistics, and supply chain, including TMS, WMS, freight, distribution, fulfillment, or last-mile delivery.
Proven experience leading client-facing consulting engagements and advising senior stakeholders.
Strong understanding of Agile product delivery from design through testing and release.
Experience using product and operational metrics such as service levels, order fulfillment, and ROI to guide decisions.
Ability to lead globally distributed, cross-functional teams with strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, engineering, information technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience in courier, express, and parcel domains or large-scale transformation programs (preferred); MBA or advanced degree (preferred).
