Senior Cloud Security Engineer

What you'll do

• Own and evolve specific cloud security domains including infrastructure, identity, logging, and threat detection.
• Define and drive multi-quarter security roadmaps aligned with business objectives and risk reduction goals.
• Assess and improve security architectures across AWS, Azure, GCP, and private cloud environments.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives by translating ambiguous security challenges into actionable projects and workstreams.
• Develop prototypes and automation to improve security visibility, compliance, and operational efficiency.
• Advance infrastructure-as-code and policy-as-code capabilities to ensure scalable and consistent security.
• Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to mentor engineers and improve organizational effectiveness.

What we're looking for

• Significant experience securing cloud environments in Azure, AWS, GCP, or a combination of major cloud providers.
• Deep understanding of cloud security architecture, identity and access management, logging, threat detection, and governance.
• Experience securing modern cloud workloads including Kubernetes, containerized applications, CI/CD pipelines, and serverless technologies.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code technologies such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Experience building automation using languages such as Python, Go, Rust, or similar technologies.
• Strong understanding of software development, cloud infrastructure, and security engineering principles.
• Knowledge of security tooling, operating systems, networking, and distributed systems.
• Proven ability to influence technical direction and lead complex security initiatives without formal authority.
