The role requires a strong background in public and private cloud infrastructure, experience with CI/CD tools, and proficiency in shell scripting and automation technologies like Terraform and Azure CLI.

What you'll do

  • Develop and operate KION's Azure cloud environment to ensure system availability.
  • Configure and troubleshoot Azure Compute instances, storage, and network resources.
  • Manage cloud resource costs using Microsoft and third-party tools.
  • Create and update automation scripts with PowerShell and Terraform.
  • Monitor and resolve failures in IT services, servers, and containers.
  • Support product teams by providing knowledge of cloud services.
  • Develop expertise in Google Cloud Platform to become a subject matter expert.

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in public cloud environments, specifically Azure
  • Expertise in Microsoft Azure and familiarity with Google Cloud Platform
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating system administration
  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code using tools like Terraform and PowerShell
  • Proficiency in CI/CD tools and deployment processes such as Azure DevOps Pipelines
  • Familiarity with cloud monitoring and log aggregation tools (e.g., Azure Monitor)
  • Ability to develop and maintain scripts for automation and system upgrades
