The Senior IT Developer – SAP ABAP will be responsible for partnering with the KION North America functional stakeholders and key users, along with other IT Teams, in support of our 17 Business Processes, moving us forward on our growth journey. Be a Leader in the design, implementation and execution of projects using SAP SD ABAP development in SAP ECC.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform as subject matter expert, creating and maintaining programs and documentation, in the following areas:
-
ERP development (SAP ABAP)
- System integration (SAP NetWeaver Process Integration)
- EDI
- Strong knowledge of SAP ABAP development technologies, including but not limited to Object Oriented Programming, and hands on in core modules – FI, CO, SD, MM, PP & WM
- Proven knowledge of interfaces, enhancements, workflow, user exits, BADIs, RFC, BAPI, SmartForms and ALE/EDI & IDOCs

Experience working on data migration projects and developed/enhanced migration objects using LSMW, BDCs, BAPI’s, IDOC’s, ABAP RESTful programming models

Collaborate with internal SAP team and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs

Working knowledge of API development for ERP integration
- Working knowledge of SPAU and SPDD to support SAP upgrades
- PP configuration knowledge a plus
- Demonstrate excellence in completion of all other duties as assigned

- 5+ years of demonstrated ERP integration skills (XML, EDI, SAP NetWeaver PI, and General Web APIs)

- Able to meet deadlines and successfully deliver on projects
- SAP S/4 experience a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Business Administration, or related field

- Provide strategic and expertly informed technical security guidance to globally distributed product development, execution, sales, and support organizations across Dematic.
- Contribute to technical security strategy that encompasses all Dematic products, including next-gen software solutions, existing software solutions, and operational technology solutions.
- Collaborate with leadership to both define and implement the vision and strategy of the Product Security organization.

What we are looking for:
- 10+ years hands-on experience in modern engineering environments, including at least 5 years as a hardware/software engineer and 5+ years in a security engineer/architect role.
- Extensive experience working in software development, enterprise architecture, and security engineering in public cloud environments, including GCP, AWS, and/or Azure.
- Strong development skills (both backend and frontend) in multiple languages, platforms, and frameworks, including Java, Python, C, C++, C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, Node, React, and Golang.
- Deep knowledge of Operation Technology security and the associated regulatory frameworks.
