Senior Cloud Engineer

What you'll do

• Develop and operationalize highly available and resilient cloud solutions for CAF application infrastructure.
• Build scalable infrastructure, networks, and systems using infrastructure-as-code (IaC) principles.
• Perform configuration, troubleshooting, and ongoing management of various cloud technologies.
• Create and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
• Automate manual processes to improve operational efficiency and eliminate repetitive tasks.
• Mentor team members in platform management and the use of reusable engineering patterns.
• Consult with internal customers to evolve the platform using agile practices and solid engineering principles.

What we're looking for

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field and 5+ years of work experience is required.
• A Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field and 3+ years of work experience is accepted as an alternative.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
• At least 4 years of experience building infrastructure within cloud platforms, preferably Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• At least 2 years of scripting or coding experience with one or more languages such as PowerShell, Python, or C#.
• Experience managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps is required.
• Demonstrated experience in building and deploying resilient cloud architectures and infrastructure-as-code.
• Technical proficiency in networking, connectivity, storage, virtualization, access control, and supporting both Windows and Linux OS.
