What you'll do

Design, build, and operate SQL Server on Windows across VMware and AWS EC2 environments.
Enhance the portfolio of database products specifically deployed on the AWS platform.
Automate infrastructure deployments and configurations using PowerShell and Terraform.
Manage Windows server configurations using Ansible in conjunction with PowerShell.
Use AI tools to analyze logs, metrics, and incidents for faster root-cause analysis and remediation.
Engineer applications following best practices for fault tolerance, observability, and separation of duties.
Perform database administration tasks including backup, recovery, security configuration, and performance troubleshooting.

What we're looking for

7-12 years of experience with SQL Server Administration, Development, or Architecture.
3+ years of experience working on cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
6+ years of highly technical experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Availability Groups, and Failover Clusters.
5+ years of development and automation experience using PowerShell and PowerShell remoting via WinRM.
2+ years of experience using Ansible to configure Windows systems.
2+ years of experience with Terraform.
AWS certifications are highly recommended.
Must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship.
