Senior Associate Quality Engineer

What you'll do

• Implement and maintain a Quality Management System to ensure products meet corporate and contract standards.
• Lead continuous improvement activities using root cause analysis, Six Sigma, Lean methods, and Kaizen.
• Provide quality support to development teams across software, systems, hardware, and aeronautical engineering programs.
• Use investigative tools to identify and drive corrective and preventive action opportunities.
• Perform quality audits to ensure compliance with CMMI, AS9100, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor audit findings and collaborate with process owners to determine necessary corrective actions.
• Attend Agile meetings to ensure compliance with SAFe, DevOps, and LeanAgile practices.
• Witness product verification and validation procedures according to documented test criteria.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of experience, a graduate degree with 0 to 2 years of experience, or 6 years of experience without a degree.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance.
• Demonstrated knowledge of quality assurance/quality control concepts, tools, and methodologies (preferred).
• Experience with lean methodologies such as 8D, Six Sigma/Lean Green Belt, or Kaizen (preferred).
• Experience in technical writing for reporting or process purposes (preferred).
• Experience engaging internal and external customers at various levels (preferred).
• Experience with Agile, SAFe, and Lean Agile processes (preferred).
• Experience in the engineering or aviation industry (preferred).
