Senior Application Engineer, IT Inventory Platform

What you'll do

• Build relationships with internal teams to understand their workflows and goals regarding IT inventory data.
• Define and prioritize the product roadmap based on customer feedback and technical judgment.
• Participate in design reviews and architectural discussions to ground technical decisions in customer problems.
• Read and review code, prototype solutions, and build integrations as needed.
• Manage the end-to-end onboarding experience for new teams, including configuration and documentation.
• Triage issues and collect feedback for existing users to identify systemic needs.
• Communicate the platform's business value to leadership through strategy documents and presentations.

What we're looking for

• 6+ years of experience in a role combining technical depth with customer or product engagement.
• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a technical related field, or international degree equivalent.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure and platform engineering, including data centers, cloud environments, networking, and compute.
• Technical fluency to read and review code, write scripts or prototypes, work with APIs, and contribute to architecture discussions.
• Demonstrated ability to build trust with customers, understand their needs deeply, and communicate solutions clearly.
• Strong product instincts to evaluate tradeoffs, assess impact, and prioritize based on customer and business value.
• Familiarity with IT operations concepts such as asset management, configuration management, or CMDB tools (preferred).
• Exposure to security, privacy, and compliance frameworks (preferred).
