What you'll do

Design and evolve knowledge graphs and ontologies to power AI reasoning, retrieval, and explainability.
Build ingestion and transformation pipelines using Python, SQL, and AWS services like Glue, Lambda, and Step Functions.
Manage the retrieval substrate including graph queries, vector indexes, and hybrid retrieval methods.
Curate grounding corpora, evaluation datasets, and benchmarks to improve LLM performance and accuracy.
Develop infrastructure as code using CloudFormation or CDK while ensuring security and cost optimization.
Define data contracts, metadata, and attributes to integrate with enterprise identity and access policies.
Establish modeling standards, naming conventions, and reuse patterns for operational and analytical workloads.
Mentor engineers and citizen developers on ontology design and retrieval engineering.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a STEM field.
Minimum of three years of data engineering experience.
Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
Must meet the status of a U.S. Person for access to export-controlled information.
5+ years of hands-on data engineering with a track record of designing data models and semantic layers (preferred).
Production experience with knowledge graphs, ontologies, and graph query languages (preferred).
Strong AWS proficiency including CloudFormation, Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, S3, IAM, Bedrock, OpenSearch, and Neptune (preferred).
Authorized to work in the United States for this opening.
