SQL Database Developer - CBP public trust preferred
The SQL Database Developer will join a team of developers and administrators to support an active program of application development. In this role, you will create new structures, update existing ones, and manage data within large, complex databases. Your daily responsibilities include performing data profiling, cleansing, reporting, staging, and managing ETL jobs while writing DDL, DML, and DCL. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, tuning SQL, and writing performance queries in complex environments. The role requires proficiency in PostgreSQL, Python scripting, and Git version control. Additionally, you will utilize AWS tools such as CloudWatch, Kibana, and Dynatrace for data migration and pipelines. Preferred technical skills include experience with Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, MySQL, Teradata, Databricks, PySpark, Liquibase, and DMS to solve complex data challenges within a federal government context.
Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, Python scripts, and Git version control.
AWS experience including data migration, validation, pipelines, CloudWatch, Kibana, and Dynatrace.
