SQL Database Administrator, Compliance

What you'll do

• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Microsoft SQL Server 2019/2022 and associated services like SSAS, SSIS, and SSRS.
• Apply relational DBMS design, architecture, and security principles to support enterprise-level database environments.
• Develop, optimize, and secure SQL database objects including stored procedures, triggers, functions, and T-SQL scripts.
• Remediate database security findings from ACAS/Tenable scans, STIG assessments, and other cybersecurity vulnerability outputs.
• Implement database compliance with DoD regulations, STIGs, Cyber Tasking Orders, and other applicable security directives.
• Perform database patching, configuration hardening, and troubleshooting to address vulnerabilities and maintain reliable operations.
• Develop and document mitigation strategies and Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) for non-compliant configurations.
• Use PowerShell and T-SQL to automate compliance checks, configuration changes, and vulnerability remediation activities.

What we're looking for

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must currently possess an active Secret security clearance.
• Must be able to obtain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
• Must have 3+ years of related experience.
• Must possess an applicable Intermediate DoW 8140 or 8570 certification, such as Security+ CE.
• Must have a Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or 3 years of experience in database administration, information assurance, or systems administration.
• Must have experience with MS SQL Server 2019/2022, SSAS, SSIS, and SSRS.
• Must be proficient in DISA STIGs, ACAS, and database security hardening.
