What you'll do

Design and develop physical architectures for mission system equipment on airborne platforms.
Translate customer and airworthiness requirements into unique, verifiable system-level requirements.
Lead cross-disciplined Integrated Product Teams consisting of internal and external members.
Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customer conversations.
Define requirement traceability methods and write subsystem specifications.
Perform and evaluate systems engineering trade studies for accuracy and completeness.
Evaluate alternative solutions to establish preliminary system designs.
Prepare technical presentations for both technical and non-technical professionals.

What we're looking for

Minimum of 4 years of systems engineering experience with requirements and systems documentation.
Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline and 4 years of related work experience, or a Graduate Degree and 2 years of experience.
Minimum of 8 years of prior work experience in a directly applicable field.
Ability to be granted a security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
Experience in managing system requirements and requirements decomposition (preferred).
Prior experience integrating mission systems or interiors on airborne platforms (preferred).
Experience with DOORS, first article verification testing, or working with subcontractors and US Government customers (preferred).
Ability to operate within a Product Lifecycle Manager (PLM); TeamCenter preferred.
