Specialist, Systems Engineer

What you'll do

• Develop all documents required to meet contracted Subcontract Data Requirements List (SDRLS) standards.
• Interact with customers and authorization officials to define and achieve cybersecurity objectives.
• Collect cybersecurity information from design engineers, program management, and corporate IT.
• Maintain awareness of the most recent system security policies and directives.
• Assist Systems Engineers with the analysis of user and system requirements and constraints.
• Translate system specifications into specific cybersecurity requirements.
• Harden Windows-based operating systems and manage routers and firewalls.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant cybersecurity experience.
• Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related cybersecurity experience.
• Minimum of 8 years of prior related cybersecurity experience in lieu of a degree.
• Security Engineering with accreditation experience (preferred).
• Analyzing system specifications and translating to cybersecurity requirements (preferred).
• Well versed in NIST 800-171 and NIST 800-53r4 standards (preferred).
• Security+ certification or CISSP (preferred).
• DoD Secret Clearance (preferred).
• Familiarity with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) is a must.
• Familiarity with Platform Information Technology (PIT) (preferred).
• Experience hardening Windows based operating systems (preferred).
• Experience with routers and firewalls (preferred).
• Experience with systems integration (preferred).
• Must be a U.S. citizen to obtain a security clearance.
