What you'll do

  • Act as the primary subject matter expert for the Stripe Radar product suite to accelerate global opportunities.
  • Advise on fraud and risk management trends including AI detection, account takeover, and policy abuse.
  • Develop technical expertise in rule management, machine learning model tuning, and manual review optimization.
  • Create reference architectures and reusable assets to scale the capabilities of the broader go-to-market team.
  • Lead strategy and manage key relationships for large, complex customers during the sales process.
  • Serve as the "Voice of the Customer" to influence product roadmap and feature prioritization with engineering teams.
  • Resolve complex technical issues by collaborating directly with Stripe's engineering department.
  • Provide tools, training, and technical guidance to the sales team to qualify leads and close deals.

What we're looking for

  • 7+ years of experience in pre-sales, technical consulting, product, or risk strategy roles focused on e-commerce fraud prevention, risk management, or trust and safety.
  • Deep working knowledge of the fraud and risk ecosystem, including payment fraud, account takeover, first-party misuse, and policy abuse.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of risk management architectures involving rules engines, machine learning models, and manual review queues.
  • Strong knowledge of signals for fraud detection such as device/IP data, behavioral biometrics, identity verification, and graph-based analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of software engineering and architecture patterns to understand how various technologies and systems interact.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience integrating Stripe or other RESTful APIs into web applications.
  • Experience with processor-agnostic fraud solutions and multi-processor payment environments.
