Specialist, Software Engineering will join a dynamic team to design, develop, integrate, and test embedded controls for Airborne Imaging systems. What you'll do

Design, develop, implement, and test sensor control software for Airborne Imaging systems.
Evaluate and develop interfaces between hardware and software based on operational performance requirements.
Perform debugging, unit testing, and system modeling for complex software products.
Conduct independent technical investigations to solve difficult system requirements and improve performance.
Coordinate with functional engineers to resolve compatibility and interface problems with other subsystems.
Participate in specification, design, code, and test reviews with various departments.
Provide timely production support and problem resolution for existing systems.
Manage multiple projects within established design specifications and budget restrictions.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field (preferred) and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
Graduate degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
Experience interacting with software development throughout the design cycle, including major design reviews and architecture reviews.
Experience with Hardware and Software integration and test, and experience with embedded development.
Experience with C++ systems development with understanding of Software/Hardware co-design, distributed systems design, and software/computer architecture.
Experience with APIs/BSPs/Drivers, OpenGL, health and status, and programming for Linux, Windows, and QNX operating systems.
DevSecOps and Test automation experience using Python or similar languages.
U.S. citizens.
