What you'll do

Participate in the full software development lifecycle to create solutions for integrating and testing complex hardware.
Define, document, and refine software requirements and designs based on mission needs.
Design, implement, and test software using C++, C, XML, and Python on Windows and Linux platforms.
Support hardware integration activities including troubleshooting, defect resolution, and performance improvement.
Apply software engineering best practices and DevOps processes to deliver reliable and maintainable solutions.
Utilize automation, code reuse, and AI-enabled tools to improve development productivity and quality.
Manage configuration and defects using tools like JIRA, Bitbucket, or similar systems.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with at least 2 years of experience.
Graduate degree with 0 to 2 years of experience or a non-degree equivalent with at least 6 years of experience.
At least 1 year of experience in programming languages such as C++, Python, or similar.
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance (requires U.S. citizenship).
Experience with space hardware test methodologies and operations (preferred).
Familiarity with the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) and integration/test troubleshooting (preferred).
Experience with Agile methodologies, DevOps tools, or object-oriented architecture (preferred).
Experience with Atlassian tools, AI-assisted development tools, database infrastructures, or hardware interfaces (preferred).
