As a Specialist, Software Engineering, you will join a cross-functional team to develop and verify embedded software applications throughout the entire software development lifecycle. The role requires proficiency in C/C++/C#, Linux/PetaLinux systems, and scripting languages like Python, Perl, or JavaScript. Technical skills include experience with CMake, Wireshark, ARM processors, Xilinx Zynq, and DevOps tools such as Jira, Bitbucket, Jenkins, and Confluence. You will solve complex technical problems involving network protocols, CMA architectures, SNMP, RS232/RS485 serial communication, and FPGA VHDL design verification.

What you'll do

Develop and verify embedded software applications throughout the entire software development life cycle.
Implement software solutions for Modems, RF Transmission Systems, and Satellite Communication Systems.
Perform requirements analysis, design, coding, unit testing, and integration of software systems.
Troubleshoot complex technical problems and perform root cause analysis.
Develop software in real-time, multi-threaded environments using C, C++, or C#.
Create and review comprehensive technical documentation for software projects.
Communicate project status, milestones, and risks to program teams and stakeholders.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree with 4 years of experience, a graduate degree with 0 to 2 years of experience, or 6 years of experience without a degree.
Experience in embedded software development using C/C++/C#.
Experience with unit test frameworks and Cmake.
Experience with network protocols and Wireshark.
Experience with multi-threaded development.
Experience generating and reviewing software documentation.
Experience with Linux/PetaLinux systems, ARM processors, Xilinx Zynq, or FPGAs (preferred).
U.S. citizens.
