What you'll do

Participate in the full software development lifecycle to create solutions for integrating and testing complex hardware.
Define, document, and refine software requirements and designs based on mission needs.
Design, implement, and test software using C++, C, XML, and Python on Windows and Linux platforms.
Support hardware integration activities including troubleshooting, defect resolution, and performance improvement.
Apply software engineering best practices and DevOps processes to deliver reliable and maintainable solutions.
Utilize automation, code reuse, and AI-enabled tools to improve development productivity and quality.
Manage configuration and defect tracking using tools like JIRA, Bitbucket, or similar systems.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with at least 2 years of experience.
Graduate degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of experience.
Minimum of 6 years of prior related experience in lieu of a degree.
At least 1 year of experience in programming languages such as C++, Python, or similar.
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance (requires U.S. citizenship).
Experience with Atlassian tools like JIRA, Confluence, or Bitbucket (preferred).
Working knowledge of Agile methodologies including Scrum practices (preferred).
Experience with DevOps tools for virtualization and automation such as Docker, Jenkins, and CMake (preferred).
