Specialist Software Engineer

What you'll do

• Analyze, code, test, debug, and deploy software applications according to established standards in an agile environment.
• Apply secure software and systems engineering practices to protect data and technology solutions from threats.
• Utilize DevSecOps practices, tooling, and techniques throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
• Map and transform data between different systems and downstream target fields.
• Orchestrate service and API calls while managing bearer tokens and response mapping.
• Troubleshoot production and support issues across connected systems and integration flows.
• Manage medium to large project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables proactively.

What we're looking for

• Completion of an undergraduate degree in computer science, management information systems, or a related field is required.
• Technology experience or non-traditional technology certificates can be substituted for an undergraduate degree.
• Four or more years of analysis and technology experience are required.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, or JavaScript is required.
• Strong ACE/IIB integration background and PolicyCenter familiarity are required.
• Experience with field mappings, APIs, and downstream orchestration is required.
• Ability to troubleshoot production issues across connected systems and understand CLS business processes is required.
• Work authorization.
