Specialist, RC-135 Network Systems Engineer

What you'll do

• Configure, maintain, and reconstitute complex enterprise networks using Cisco, Dell, and Brocade hardware.
• Manage TCP/IP protocols, static and dynamic routing, switch oversight, and firewall administration.
• Administer Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW) to secure enterprise network traffic.
• Troubleshoot network services including DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, and LDAP in Linux and Windows environments.
• Configure and maintain Type 1 encryption devices.
• Implement system and network defensive measures and secure configuration techniques.
• Provide weekly status updates, maintain network diagrams, and train USAF personnel.
• Support RC-135 mission systems and ground training sorties using the Ground Data Processing System (GDPS).

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree and 4 years of experience, a graduate degree and 2 years of experience, or 8 years of experience without a degree.
• Experience configuring and maintaining enterprise networks using Cisco, Dell, and Brocade hardware.
• Proficiency in TCP/IP, routing protocols, firewall administration, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, and LDAP.
• Ability to manage Red Hat Linux and Microsoft Windows environments.
• Experience with Type 1 encryption devices and network defensive measures.
• Must obtain CompTIA Security+ certification or higher within six months.
• Active Secret clearance required; must be able to obtain Top Secret/SCI with CI polygraph within one year.
