Specialist, Quality Engineer, Playwright

What you'll do

• Develop and execute test strategies using a mix of manual, automated, and exploratory testing methods.
• Build and maintain code-based Playwright automation while transitioning or maintaining existing Tosca automation.
• Perform automated testing for REST APIs, JSON payloads, authentication, and service integrations using tools like Postman or Bruno.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, Harness, or Jenkins.
• Manage the full defect lifecycle including identification, prioritization, tracking, and resolution.
• Validate test results and maintain traceability from requirements to outcomes for stakeholder reporting.
• Coordinate test execution, environment management, and release validation including backout planning.
• Analyze testing trends and emerging technologies to provide recommendations for product strategies and roadmaps.

What we're looking for

• Experience with Microsoft Playwright and testing Angular or similar single-page applications.
• Experience testing REST APIs, JSON payloads, authentication, error handling, schemas, CRUD operations, and service integrations.
• Proficiency with Postman, Bruno, or Playwright API testing.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, Harness, or Jenkins.
• Experience transitioning or maintaining Tosca automation while building code-based Playwright automation.
• Four or more years of experience using test optimization and automation processes and tools.
• Undergraduate studies in computer science, management information systems, or a related field (preferred).
• Technology certifications such as TOSCA Automated Specialist 1 or 2 (preferred).
