Senior Software Automation Engineer (UI/API)

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable UI and API automation frameworks using Playwright, Python, and PyTest.
• Create automated test suites and reusable libraries for RESTful services and web applications.
• Integrate automated testing and quality gates into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Perform root-cause analysis of failures to drive defect prevention and improve automation reliability.
• Execute end-to-end workflow validations in AWS-hosted cloud environments.
• Define quality strategies and test coverage in collaboration with developers and product managers.
• Monitor and report on quality metrics to ensure release readiness and production quality.

What we're looking for

• 3-5 years of experience in software quality engineering or test automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python and Playwright for UI automation.
• Experience using PyTest and developing automation frameworks.
• Strong understanding of API testing, REST services, and tools like Postman or Swagger.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Working knowledge of AWS services and cloud-hosted applications.
• Experience working in healthcare, insurance, or regulated environments (preferred).
• Bachelor's degree, specialized training, or relevant professional qualification (preferred).
