Quality Engineer

What you'll do

• Own quality for end-to-end Direct Revenue experiences across multiple teams and surfaces.
• Define and drive the test strategy for new features and premium experiences.
• Build and maintain high-signal automation for critical paths like accessibility, privacy, and compatibility.
• Perform root cause analysis for defects and lead cross-functional triage to ensure resolution.
• Utilize AI tools to accelerate development and improve engineering efficiency.
• Manage release readiness and provide quality sign-off for your specific feature domain.
• Review code and test pull requests to maintain high quality standards across platforms.
• Map cross-team dependencies to identify and mitigate risks at integration points.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of post-Bachelor’s experience in software testing or development, or a Master's with 2+ years of experience, or a PhD.
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming using Java, Kotlin, Swift, Objective-C, or similar languages.
• Experience with mobile and client test automation frameworks such as XCTest, XCUITest, Selenium, Appium, or Espresso.
• Expertise in building and maintaining test coverage for mobile applications across various smartphones and tablets.
• Proficiency with engineering tools including Git, Jira, TestRail, Chrome DevTools, Charles Proxy, and Postman.
• Experience using AI within an engineering workflow to improve efficiency and development speed.
• Knowledge of quality-related agile methodologies and experience applying them throughout the software development life cycle.
