Specialist, Logistics joins the Integrated Logistics Support team to provide broad logistics support for multiple defense programs involving ground-based radar and optical surveillance systems. This role involves managing system integration, fielding, sustainment, and lifecycle activities for fixed and deployable Air Force and Space Force systems across domestic and international locations. Daily responsibilities include performing supply support through material research, ordering, warranty tracking, and transportation; recording management information in software systems; and analyzing metrics to meet program performance objectives. The candidate will manage repair cycle processes, develop technical orders, and perform lifecycle analysis for radar and optical programs. Required skills include proficiency with tools like FedLog, GIDEP, WebFLIS, D043, and GOLD, as well as knowledge of MIL-PRF-49506, engineering drawing standards, RAM modeling, and ITAR/EAR compliance while managing parts across all phases of the repair cycle.
Execute logistics support using standard practices and databases across multiple defense programs.
Manage supply chain activities including material research, ordering, warranty tracking, and transportation.
Record and manage logistics data within integrated software systems to meet program objectives.
Analyze technical data and failure reports to determine system sparing and repair cycle recommendations.
Track and document parts through all phases of the repair cycle for fielded systems.
Manage Deactivated Equipment Lists (DEL) and execute material disposition processes.
Support engineering teams during upgrade events and lifecycle support analysis for radar and optical systems.
Provide input for technical orders, drawings, and configuration control activities.
What we're looking for
Active Secret security clearance.
Bachelor's degree and minimum 4 years of relevant experience, or a Graduate Degree and 2 years of related experience, or 8 years of experience without a degree.
Willingness and ability to travel up to 10% (CONUS/OCONUS).
Experience or familiarity with ground-based optical or radar surveillance systems (preferred).
Ability to develop and maintain Logistics Management Information using MIL-PRF-49506 as guidance (preferred).
Familiarity with DoD and commercial logistics tools, databases, and LMI data products (preferred).
Experience with ITAR/EAR compliance, export control policies, and maintenance contract management (preferred).
