Senior Manager, Data & Analytics serves as the business engagement and technical delivery lead for Enterprise Data Strategy & Engineering initiatives. This role involves leading projects from discovery through delivery to ensure value realization by translating business priorities into scalable data, analytics, reporting, and AI-enabled solutions. The successful candidate will partner with cross-functional teams to define outcomes, shape roadmaps, and manage dependencies while building reusable data products that ensure governed, high-quality, and scalable use of enterprise data. Key technical requirements include proficiency in Databricks, AWS, Power BI, and other cloud or visualization technologies. The role operates at the intersection of business strategy and technology within the life sciences industry, specifically focusing on solving complex problems related to data engineering, automated pipelines, and AI-enabled capabilities to improve decision-making and operational productivity.
Translate business priorities into scalable data, analytics, reporting, and AI-enabled solutions.
Lead the full project lifecycle from discovery and roadmap development through delivery and value realization.
Manage product strategy by defining roadmaps, backlogs, and measurable success criteria for stakeholders.
Design and deliver reusable data products using Databricks, AWS, Power BI, and other enterprise platforms.
Implement agentic data-engineering capabilities such as automated pipelines, quality monitoring, and metadata generation.
Ensure all technical solutions comply with enterprise standards for security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
Track adoption metrics and manage the post-launch lifecycle of data products.
Communicate project progress, key decisions, and realized business value to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
What we're looking for
Must meet one of the following: Doctorate with 2 years experience, Master’s with 6 years, Bachelor’s with 8 years, Associate’s with 10 years, or High School/GED with 12 years in a relevant field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience managing people or leading teams, projects, programs, or resource allocation.
Experience delivering data, analytics, reporting, or digital solutions in the life sciences industry with large global teams.
Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional data and analytics initiatives from discovery through production delivery and adoption.
Demonstrated experience delivering solutions using Databricks, AWS, Power BI, and related cloud, integration, or visualization technologies.
Ability to translate business needs into product requirements, delivery plans, measurable outcomes, and production-ready solutions.
Strong stakeholder management, communication, facilitation, and decision-making skills.
Experience with enterprise-scale initiatives in a matrixed organization, Agile practices, reusable data products, AI-enabled engineering, or GxP/regulatory standards (preferred).
