The Specialist, Integration & Test Engineer joins the team to support the design, integration, verification, validation, documentation, and deployment of advanced systems and services. This role involves driving test and evaluation processes for mission-critical programs, specifically focusing on hardware, software, and networked system environments. The engineer will develop and execute test procedures, perform root cause analysis, and maintain bidirectional traceability between customer requirements and system models. Key technical requirements include experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), Model-Based Testing (MBT), and Cameo Systems Modeler. Candidates should also possess skills in SysML, UML, and tools like DOORS, Selenium, or PyTest. The work supports the global aviation community by developing advanced systems that increase the safety, security, and capacity of air traffic management operations for government and Department of Defense customers.
Develop, document, and execute integration, verification, and validation test procedures for complex systems.
Use Cameo Systems Modeler to support model-based testing, requirements verification, and end-to-end traceability.
Translate system models, behavioral diagrams, and requirements into test cases and verification artifacts.
Maintain bidirectional traceability between customer requirements, system models, test procedures, and test results.
Troubleshoot integration and test issues involving hardware, software, interfaces, networking, and communications components.
Support automated and manual test execution in lab and system integration environments.
Develop test scenarios and acceptance tests for system-level and subsystem-level requirements.
Identify opportunities to improve test efficiency through automation and model-based approaches.
What we're looking for
Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field with 4 years of experience, a Graduate Degree with 2 years of experience, or 8 years of experience in lieu of a degree (preferred).
Minimum of three years of experience in Integration & Test Engineering Background (System/Network Integration Testing).
Experience performing formal systems testing in a lab, integration, or operational environment.
Experience interpreting and validating system requirements and maintaining requirements traceability.
Experience using Cameo Systems Modeler or similar model-based systems engineering tools.
FAA Public Trust Clearance.
Experience in applying model-based systems engineering principles to system design, verification, or validation activities (preferred).
