What you'll do

  • Perform analysis of component synthesis, timing, and clock domain crossings.
  • Develop algorithms using MATLAB/Simulink and automate FPGA builds using Python.
  • Utilize ModelSim/Questa and vendor-specific tools (Altera, AMD/Xilinx) for logic simulation.
  • Participate in VHDL peer reviews and provide technical presentations for internal design reviews.
  • Integrate standard streaming and memory-mapped interfaces such as Avalon and AXI.
  • Support hardware integration for ultra-high speed infrared cameras and defense applications.

What we're looking for

  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Ability to obtain a US Secret security clearance.
  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
  • Minimum of 8 years of prior related experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Proficient knowledge of FPGAs and VHDL design including a minimum of 4 years of direct experience.
  • Proficient in ModelSim/Questa, MATLAB/Simulink, Python, and FPGA vendor tools (Altera, AMD/Xilinx).
  • Proficiency in digital hardware design, interfaces, and architecture (preferred).
