This role involves designing and building modern user-facing applications and supporting services that connect frontend workflows with enterprise APIs, backend services, and AI-enabled features. The successful candidate will develop high-quality software using Angular for frontends and Java, Spring Boot, and Python for backends while adhering to AWS golden path technologies. Key responsibilities include creating scalable, observable systems, implementing automated orchestration for security events, and integrating agentic solutions or LLM-backed services. The role focuses on solving complex operational needs by improving usability and accelerating cyber defense workflows. Required skills include full-stack engineering, experience with CI/CD pipelines, and proficiency in advanced development practices to ensure all tools are secure, well-governed, and aligned with enterprise standards.

What you'll do

  • Build and maintain production-grade frontend applications using Angular and backend services using Java/Spring Boot and Python.
  • Design intuitive user interface workflows that connect to APIs, enterprise systems, and downstream service integrations.
  • Implement reusable frontend patterns and shared components aligned with corporate technology standards.
  • Develop backend services for orchestration logic, data access, and secure integration of enterprise capabilities.
  • Utilize AI-assisted development techniques to improve engineering throughput, code quality, and test coverage.
  • Integrate applications with agentic workflows, LLM-backed services, and automated workflow capabilities.
  • Instrument applications with logs, metrics, and traces to support monitoring and production troubleshooting.
  • Manage secure authentication, authorization, and secret handling across the entire application lifecycle.

What we're looking for

  • Full stack engineering skills with experience in Angular, Java/Spring Boot, and Python are required.
  • Experience building production web applications and APIs using enterprise development standards is required.
  • Knowledge of frontend architecture, component design, state management, and secure application development practices is required.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted software development practices and integrating applications with LLM-backed services is preferred.
  • Experience working within AWS-aligned enterprise delivery patterns and CI/CD pipelines is required.
  • At least three years of experience in technology including operating systems, networking, or information security is required.
  • Undergraduate studies in cyber security, computer science, engineering, or a related field are strongly preferred.
  • Preferred certifications include CISSP, CCNA, CEH, GCIH, EnCE, GSTRT, GSE, CCSP, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, or AZ500.
