JOB TITLE: Specialist, Cybersecurity (Full Stack)
The Specialist, Cybersecurity (Full Stack) joins the Cyber Security Operations Center’s Innovation and Integration team to transform emerging ideas into secure, production-ready capabilities. In this role, you will design and deliver modern user-facing applications and supporting services that connect secure frontend workflows with enterprise APIs and backend services. You will build scalable, maintainable applications that improve usability and accelerate operations for cyber security workflows. Key responsibilities include owning frontend implementation, backend service integration, and application workflow design. You will utilize a technical stack including Angular, Java/Spring Boot, and Python within an AWS-aligned enterprise environment. The role involves integrating applications with agentic solutions, LLM-backed services, and retrieval components to solve complex operational needs and improve cyber defense outcomes through observable, well-governed digital experiences.
Build and maintain production-grade frontend applications using Angular and backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Python.
Design intuitive UI workflows that connect frontend experiences to enterprise APIs, backend services, and AI-enabled capabilities.
Implement reusable frontend patterns and shared components that align with enterprise engineering standards and golden path technologies.
Integrate applications with agentic workflows, LLM-backed services, and retrieval components to automate cyber security operations.
Instrument applications with logs, metrics, and traces to support production monitoring and troubleshooting.
Support secure authentication, authorization, and secrets handling across the entire application development lifecycle.
Use AI-assisted development techniques to improve engineering throughput, code quality, and test coverage.
Troubleshoot application defects and production incidents while continuously improving maintainability and developer experience.
What we're looking for
Strong full stack engineering skills with deep experience in Angular for frontend development and working ability in Java, Spring Boot, and Python.
Experience building and maintaining production web applications and APIs using enterprise development standards and reusable platform patterns.
Strong knowledge of frontend architecture, component design, state management, API integration, and secure application development practices.
Experience building backend services and integration layers that support UI workflows, orchestration, data access, and enterprise system connectivity.
Experience working within AWS-aligned enterprise delivery patterns, golden path templates, and approved CI/CD, deployment, and operational controls.
Working knowledge of observability, release practices, production support, and operational readiness for user-facing applications and services.
Undergraduate studies in cyber security, management information systems, engineering, math, computer science, data analytics, or comparable experience and education (preferred).
Preferred certifications include CISSP, CCNA, CEH, GCIH, EnCE, GSTRT, GSE, CCSP, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, or AZ500.
