Cybersecurity Specialist

What you'll do

• Develop and integrate cybersecurity requirements into the product baseline and system architecture.
• Lead cybersecurity efforts for specific software development and engineering projects.
• Assess, document, and report on the cybersecurity posture of various systems.
• Develop and implement mitigation strategies to address identified vulnerabilities.
• Manage security policies, controls, and technologies for cloud environments and infrastructure.
• Conduct scans using Nessus or SCAP tools to ensure compliance with DISA STIGs.
• Manage RMF artifacts to maintain system authorizations (ATO) and certifications.
• Monitor and report on cybersecurity project status to internal and external stakeholders.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience in a relevant field.
• At least 8 years of prior relevant experience.
• At least 3 years of experience applying the Risk Management Framework (ICD 503) for DoD accreditation.
• Experience managing RMF artifacts and maintaining system ATOs and IATTs.
• Demonstrated experience in cybersecurity analysis, accreditation processes, and compliance systems.
• US citizenship and a current Secret clearance.
• Top Secret/SCI Clearance is required.
• CISSP or DoD Manual 8570 IAT II/III certifications (such as CompTIA Security+) are preferred.
