Specialist, Business Systems Analyst I

What you'll do

• Serve as an Agile Product Owner to set the product vision and prioritize work for the development team.
• Translate stakeholder requirements into epics, user stories, and actionable items for the product backlog.
• Coordinate with systems engineers and architects to break down complex requirements into manageable tasks.
• Create and maintain a Release Plan to ensure software delivery meets scope and schedule goals.
• Interface directly with stakeholders and vendors to gather feature requests and resolve defects.
• Support technical meetings, integration events, and ground or flight test events as needed.
• Troubleshoot system issues and work with engineering teams to integrate new hardware functionality.
• Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning inputs, and the preparation of product demonstrations.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree and 4 years of experience, a graduate degree and 2 years of experience, or 8 years of experience without a degree.
• Bachelor's degree in a technology or business field with 4+ years of relevant experience.
• 8+ years of equivalent experience in analyst, engineering, or DoD integration environments.
• 4+ years of relevant experience with Agile/Scrum development and managing release commitments.
• Ability to obtain and hold a US Secret security clearance.
• Knowledge of systems engineering, integration/test workflows, and release governance (preferred).
• Familiarity with tactical data links, DoD voice/data radios, and EO/IR sensor integration contexts (preferred).
