As a Space Systems Modeling and Analysis Engineer, you will join the team to develop and deploy high-fidelity computational models of multi-orbit space architectures. You will build fast, parallelizable simulations for proliferated constellations across LEO, MEO, and GEO orbits to support SATCOM, navigation warfare, space-based sensing and targeting, and missile warning missions. Your daily work involves modeling space-to-space crosslinks, ground segment architectures, and sensor performance for multi-phenomenology detection. You will perform trade studies on constellation design, link budgets, and timing architectures while analyzing system resilience under contested conditions. To succeed, you must be proficient in MATLAB, Python, or C++ and experienced with high-performance computing, orbital mechanics, and RF link analysis. This role solves critical problems regarding infrastructure reliability and sensor coverage for resilient space systems in degraded environments.
