Solutions Engineer, Finance Technology

What you'll do

• Translate business requirements from finance leaders and product managers into technical specifications.
• Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and automation opportunities within current financial workflows.
• Own end-to-end delivery for new builds, system configurations, and module implementations.
• Propose scalable solutions for financial systems across multiple modules.
• Manage medium-to-large projects independently using deep functional and technical domain knowledge.
• Make independent design decisions for complex financial system projects.
• Communicate design and tradeoff decisions clearly to stakeholders in both written and verbal formats.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field or equivalent experience.
• Functional knowledge in one or more areas including P2P, accounting, month-end close, and financial reporting.
• Experience with enterprise applications like Workday, Oracle, SAP, or NetSuite (Workday experience is a plus).
• Experience working with engineers, product managers, and product owners.
• Experience understanding integrations with various systems (preferred).
• Experience with XML and document transformations (preferred).
• Ability to translate business requirements and manage relationships with finance leaders and product managers.
• Ability to independently manage medium-to-large projects and make design decisions in ambiguous environments.
