What you'll do

Analyze business requirements to design and implement full-stack web applications and automation solutions.
Write efficient code to develop bespoke applications that improve global Finance organization processes.
Test, deploy, and maintain applications following the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Triage, debug, and improve existing software applications to ensure high performance.
Create technical documentation for application support and future development projects.
Implement and maintain application compliance with InfoSec, Privacy, and SOX guidelines.
Partner with DevOps to identify and adopt emerging technologies and orchestration architectures.

What we're looking for

Undergraduate or Masters degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, Mathematics, or another quantitative discipline is required.
5+ years of relevant software engineering experience is required.
Experience is required in designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting applications and automation solutions, preferably in an agile environment.
Strong knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle and Software Quality Control in an Agile environment is required.
Proficiency is required in LAMP stack, JavaScript libraries (React, VueJS), Python, SQL, APIs/Microservices (GraphQL, REST), Relational Databases, and Unix Shell Scripting.
Experience with Git for code management is required.
Education or experience working with finance/accounting data, especially with SAP (preferred).
Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Ansible, Docker, CI/CD tools, and HTML5 responsive applications (preferred).
