JOB TITLE: Solutions Architecture, Vice President The Solutions Architecture, Vice President leads a team of solution architects and technical specialists within IMS West to define and govern the end-to-end technology architecture strategy. Key responsibilities include establishing architecture roadmaps, leading design councils, and managing technical debt reduction while ensuring compliance with enterprise standards. The role requires expertise in AWS cloud architecture, distributed systems design, API and integration architecture, cybersecurity, and data architecture. Candidates must utilize DevSecOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure-as-Code, and observability platforms to solve complex business problems. This position serves as a primary authority for large-scale financial services transformations, balancing performance, cost, and security to support mission-critical production environments and regulatory-driven technology changes.

What you'll do

  • Define and maintain the IMS West technology architecture roadmap aligned with business and regulatory priorities.
  • Establish target-state architectures for applications, infrastructure, cloud, data, and security.
  • Lead architecture reviews and governance forums for strategic technology investments and high-risk implementations.
  • Drive cloud migrations, data center exits, and application modernization programs to reduce technical debt.
  • Partner with production and engineering leaders to strengthen system resiliency and eliminate single points of failure.
  • Translate executive business requirements into scalable technology solutions and provide regular strategy updates.
  • Lead a team of solution architects and establish the organizational architecture operating model.
  • Guide development teams on engineering standards, automation, and CI/CD best practices.

What we're looking for

  • 12+ years of progressive technology leadership experience.
  • 5+ years in architecture leadership, chief architect, enterprise architect, or solutions architecture roles.
  • Experience leading architecture for large-scale financial services or regulated environments.
  • Proven track record delivering enterprise modernization and transformation programs.
  • Strong experience with mission-critical production environments and operational risk management.
  • Expertise in Cloud Architecture (AWS preferred).
  • Expertise in Enterprise Architecture, Distributed Systems, API/Integration, and Cybersecurity Architecture.
  • Expertise in DevSecOps, CI/CD, Automation, Infrastructure-as-Code, and Technology Governance.
