The Solution Lead, Privileged Access Management (PAM) serves as the technical lead for the PAM service area, responsible for shaping strategy, owning solution architecture, and designing patterns to protect privileged accounts, credentials, secrets, machine identities, and cloud privileges across hybrid environments. You will design and implement enterprise capabilities, identify capability gaps, and develop standards for automation and operational processes aligned with Zero Trust principles. The role involves partnering with security architects, engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure scalable solutions are delivered. Key technical requirements include experience with CyberArk, Delinea, BeyondTrust, or HashiCorp Vault, along with knowledge of Azure, AWS, or GCP. You will manage credential vaulting, session monitoring, and service accounts while addressing operational escalations. The role focuses on solving complex security challenges related to privileged identity management in a regulated healthcare environment.
Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of enterprise PAM capabilities across cloud and on-premises environments.
Shape the PAM roadmap by identifying capability gaps and prioritizing strategic security initiatives.
Own solution architecture and implement controls for credential vaulting, secrets management, and machine identities.
Partner with application teams and stakeholders to develop practical, scalable, and supportable security solutions.
Serve as the primary escalation point for PAM operational issues and incidents to guide resolution and prevent recurrence.
Develop standards, automation, and processes that align with Zero Trust principles and improve system scalability.
Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends related to privileged access and cloud privilege management.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship across various cybersecurity engineering initiatives.
What we're looking for
Degree or equivalent required; 10+ years of relevant experience required (lesser amount acceptable with a Master's degree).
At least 8 years of experience in cybersecurity, PAM, IAM security, or security engineering roles.
Hands-on experience with enterprise Privileged Access Management platforms and knowledge of credential, session, secrets, and machine identity management.
Experience leading security initiatives from requirements through solution design, implementation, and operationalization.
Experience supporting operational escalations, incident management, or production issues for security platforms.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to influence technical and business stakeholders.
Experience with CyberArk (preferred); experience with Delinea, BeyondTrust, or HashiCorp Vault (preferred).
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CyberArk certifications, or equivalent (preferred).
