Solution Engineer, Symbiosys joins the Sales Engineering team to drive adoption and growth of an offsite retail media SaaS platform for global retail and ad channel partners. This role involves supporting the end-to-end technical onboarding process, where you will translate partner needs into technical requirements, manage integration planning, and validate data flows such as product feeds, event tracking, and reporting outputs. You will act as a technical partner to resolve blockers related to APIs, conversion tracking, e-commerce platforms, and inventory systems. The ideal candidate possesses strong project management skills and experience with AdTech, retail media networks, or performance marketing metrics like ROAS and CPA. Required competencies include SQL, data quality validation, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly while managing multi-faceted workstreams to ensure successful product launches for diverse advertising and retail partners.
Manage the end-to-end technical onboarding of retailers and ad channels from discovery to post-launch troubleshooting.
Translate partner business needs into technical requirements and documentation for internal teams.
Validate data flows, including event tracking, product feeds, campaign setups, and reporting outputs.
Troubleshoot integration issues related to APIs, conversion tracking, e-commerce platforms, and inventory systems.
Act as a technical advisor to partners by explaining complex concepts and clarifying project requirements.
Identify recurring technical issues and provide feedback to influence the internal product roadmap.
What we're looking for
Must have 3 to 6+ years of experience in sales engineering, solutions engineering, technical implementation, AdTech operations, partner engineering, or technical account management.
Experience supporting partner integrations, technical launches, external SaaS implementations, or advertising and marketing technology systems is required.
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into simple terms for both business and technical audiences.
Proficiency in troubleshooting issues related to APIs, product feeds, conversion tracking, and e-commerce platforms.
Capability to validate data flows, event tracking, campaign setups, and reporting outputs for accuracy.
Experience working with retail media networks, DSPs, social/search platforms, or other paid media channels is highly valued.
Familiarity with performance marketing metrics such as ROAS, CPA, CPC, CTR, conversion rate, and LTV.
SQL experience and familiarity with data QA processes, reporting pipelines, and retailer technology stacks are highly valued.
