SolarWinds Administrator

What you'll do

• Design, deploy, and configure SolarWinds monitoring tools to manage the organization's IT infrastructure.
• Create customized dashboards, alerts, and reports to provide real-time visibility into network and application health.
• Perform advanced SQL database configuration, support, and query development for reporting purposes.
• Analyze performance data to identify bottlenecks and implement optimizations for system performance.
• Respond to alerts promptly and investigate incidents to resolve infrastructure issues efficiently.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for SolarWinds configurations, processes, and best practices.
• Review and remediate STIG requirements and checklists as needed.
• Provide technical training on SolarWinds products and monitoring principles to other users.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience, or a Master's degree and 6+ years of experience.
• Active and current DoD TS/SCI clearance.
• DoD 8570/8140-compliant certification at IAT Level II (CompTIA Security+ CE minimum).
• At least 4 years of experience in SolarWinds administration across various modules.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, infrastructure, system architecture, Netflow, SNMP, and Packet Analysis.
• Demonstrated ability in SQL administration and the SQL query language.
• Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Windows Server OS administration.
