Solar Performance Analyst, Operations Engineering

What you'll do

• Curate metrics, KPIs, and reports to transform equipment information into operational intelligence.
• Clean and process raw data to remove outliers, errors, and inconsistencies.
• Design and maintain dashboards and visualizations to communicate insights to stakeholders.
• Build tools to detect and diagnose underperformance issues for solar and storage assets.
• Perform ad-hoc analyses to quantify energy and revenue impacts from operational events.
• Model performance scenarios for operational decisions and hardware or software upgrades.
• Support regulatory reporting requirements such as NERC GADS.
• Utilize Aveva PI system tools to create real-time analyses.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
• 2+ years of experience working with operational, industrial, or renewable energy asset data in an analytics, engineering, or performance monitoring role.
• Familiarity with Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Excellent problem solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Familiarity with the Aveva PI software suite (preferred).
• Familiarity with database environments and query languages (SQL preferred), Power BI, Tableau, Python, or PVSyst (preferred).
