Software System Test Engineer

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain automated and manual test frameworks for embedded software.
• Perform integration, regression, and performance testing across multiple platforms and environments.
• Analyze test results to identify root causes of issues and drive resolution with development teams.
• Use Python and Bash scripting tools for test automation and data analysis.
• Document test plans, procedures, and results for internal and customer deliverables.
• Validate software deliverables to support release management and ensure quality standards.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior test engineers throughout the testing lifecycle.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5-7 years of professional experience in software/system testing, preferably for embedded systems.
• Proficiency in developing and executing system test cases for embedded software.
• Experience with Linux-based embedded systems and network communication testing.
• Solid understanding of IP networking fundamentals and protocol testing/debugging.
• Proficiency in test automation using Python and Bash scripting languages.
• Proficiency in Git source control and CI workflows.
• U.S. Citizenship is required and the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
